Angelika Silva joined AISES as an Accountant in 2014. Currently she serves as the Senior Director of Finance and HR. Angelika provides a broad range of finance duties. She works with the CFO to prepare all accounting entries necessary to close the books each month while ensuring that the GL is accurate and that all activity is processed according to the standards of AISES’ annual audits. Angelika also plays the lead role in Human Resources, processing all paperwork for new hires, preparing and processing payroll and administering benefits for all AISES employees. Angelika attends some of the AISES events where she manages the merchandise booth and provides customer service.

When Angelika became a member of the AISES staff, she brought 15 years of experience in the field, working in insurance accounting, healthcare accounting and construction accounting.  Non-profit is by far her favorite as it gives her the personal satisfaction of doing something good for the world we live in.   

Angelika’s mother is from a small city in Kalamata, Greece and her father is from Ignacio, Colorado. Angelika was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she still currently resides with her daughter and Pug. They enjoy vacationing, trying out new restaurants, family get togethers, shopping and cooking.
