Chloe Roughface Smith is an enrolled citizen of the Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma. She is also Pawnee. Chloe has a Bachelor’s in Public affairs and Administration with a minor in Native American Studies from the University of Oklahoma.

Chloe joined AISES as the PK12 Program Manager in November of 2022. In her role, Chloe is able to make connections with schools, tribes, and universities in order to share pertinent information regarding programs and opportunities AISES offers. Chloe also assists in planning and organizing the National American Indian Science and Engineering Fair (NAISEF).

Chloe has over eight years of experience in working with Nonprofit organizations. She initially began her nonprofit career with the Tribal Education Departments National Assembly as the administrative assistant and then later obtained the role as Assistant Program Director of the Native Youth Community Project (NYCP). Chloe then worked for Wichita Mountains Prevention Network as the Drug-Free Communities Director where she helped promote and raise awareness of living a drug-free lifestyle.

Chloe is a born and raised Oklahoman who currently resides back in her hometown of Pawnee. In her spare time, Chloe enjoys reading, crafting, traveling, working out, spending time with her nephews, and her wolf husky, Murphy.
