Summer Internships

The AISES Internship Program provides students with applied work experience and an opportunity to explore career options. Placing students in 10-week summer positions with partner agencies, the program also promotes advanced study to the graduate level and assists students in developing professional networks. 

Who May Apply:

Each agency has its own eligibility requirements.  However, AISES requires that all applicants:

  • Be a current AISES memberships at the time of application.  To join AISES or check on your membership (you need an AISES member number to apply), please go to: http://www.aises.org/membership
  • Students must be an enrolled member or descendant of an enrolled member of a federally or state recognized American Indian Tribe, Alaska Native Village, or Native Hawai'ian or descendant of a Native Hawai'ian.
  • Students must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at either an accredited four-year college/university, or a full-time student at a two-year college enrolled in a program leading to an academic degree.

 

Open Internships

Due Date: February 16, 2018

One position is now available with AISES partner, BMM Test Labs. The internship will be located in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal student will have a background in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering.  Additionally, the ideal candidate should be completing their junior year and going into their senior year in college. Seniors and Graduate students are eligible for participation.
