Programs and Development Manager

Hope has multi-functional responsibility for a combination of departments - programs and development - that are all important and necessary for the role as the programs and development manager at AISES. She will oversee student success services which involves working closely with scholarship and intern applicants, as well as sales support and exhibitor servicing during the national conference.

Hope completed her undergraduate career at the University of Colorado Boulder in Ethnic Studies and Elementary Education. After graduation she taught in Longmont in the St. Vrain Valley School District – the seventh largest school district in the state. She advocates connections, and relationships among Black, Indigenous, and people of color; to share and affirm their diverse histories; and implement their stories and legacies into curricula and classrooms.

A Chicanx woman, she was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado. Her family has been in southern Colorado, and northern New Mexico since before statehood. She comes from a family of bold and independent women. Her sisters are her best friends and her biggest supporters. In her free time, she enjoys gatherings with friends and family, going to community events, or meeting new people. Her personality can be mostly attributed to being a Libra and a Ravenclaw.
