3Accolades, Achievements, and Milestones,A poster presentation by Sequoyah Fellow Ely Boone, a student of  sheries biology at Humboldt State University in California, won a second-place award from the American Fisheries Society. Boone is the AISES student representative from Region 2.,Oregon State University student Ameyalli Mañon- Ferguson has won a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Scholarship from the OregonChapter of the American Fisheries Society. She was also invited to speak on a panel on diversity and inclusion in the  sheries  eldat the society’s conference.,At an April awards assembly, Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College, inHayward, Wis., honored several students for their participation in AISES: Marcus Morrow,Russell Corbine, Cali Quaderer- Cuddy, Julia Buck, Trent Strapon,Lolita Barth, Roberta Crowe- DeCora, Melissa Knop,Ely Boone Misty Jackson, and Vincent Thomas.Sequoyah Fellow Brook Thompson has been named an inaugural undergraduate Student of the Year by the American Indian Graduate Center (AIGC). At the time of the honor, she was a senior civil engineering major in the Honors College at Portland State University in Portland, Ore. She had previously been named Student of the Month by the AIGC.
