STEM Activities Day sponsored by Boeing - This fun, interactive day of activities will include hands-on education for students and educators. Get jazzed up for your National Conference experience, network with others, and receive FREE AISES MERCHANDISE and win great prizes!

Power-Up Session – For Students, Educators, and Professionals - Room 123
These workshops are a great way to introduce students to science fairs and learn what it takes as an educator to get students ready to participate in local and regional science fairs. PRIZES AND GIVEAWAYS!

9:30 am to 1:30 pm
STEM Marketplace - For Students - Room 124A
Stroll through and learn important skills from roundtable facilitators and enjoy light refreshments. PRIZES/GIVEAWAYS!

9:30 am to 10:30 am AND 11:00 am to 12:00 pm (Two Time Slots Available for Attendance)
Engineering is Fun – For Students - Room 122BParticipants will build an egg vehicle out of everyday materials using engineering, math, science, and project management. PRIZES/GIVEAWAYS!

Uranium, Radiation and Radon – For Students - Room 122A
Hands-on activities with Geiger Counters to understand the health impacts of Uranium mining and hands-on activities to introduce the mathematics of radiation. All participants receive a radon test kit to test their homes for radon.

Seaperch (Navy Underwater Robotics) Session – For Educators but all conference participants welcome - Room 125A
An innovative, low-cost, underwater robotics program that teaches the basic principles of engineering, math, and physics in a fun and engaging setting.

Professional Members Opportunities Expo – For Professionals - Room 124B
Come to network with other professionals and learn about a myriad of ways to get more involved with AISES as a professional. All professionals (not just Native STEM professionals) are eligible for AISES Professional Membership!
