Starting a Professional Chapter

Stay involved year-round with like-minded peers and help pave the way for the next generation of Indigenous talent by starting an AISES Professional Chapter today!

AISES Professional Chapters make a difference by:

  • Acting as role models for students and other professionals by identifying community contributions of Indigenous scientists and engineers.
  • Providing support and mentorship for students in transition from student status to professional status.
  • Organizing professional development seminars and workshops to develop and enhance management, communication, and other skillsets.
  • Sharing networking resources.

 

Membership Requirements

Each AISES Professional Chapter must have a minimum of five members, of which three must be General members, in good standing with AISES National Office. The members listed on the petition to form a Professional Chapter must be current with their AISES National membership.

Professional Membership dues are only $65. Free dues waivers are available for recent college graduates and anyone facing hardship. To fill out the waiver application, visit: https://forms.aises.org/form/dues-waiver
