Students in grades 9-12 do not miss out on the amazing opportunity to compete in the AISES Energy Challenge and National American Indian Science and Engineering Fair (NAIVSEF)!

AISES Energy Challenge – Deadline: January 31, 2017

The EC is an energy-specific science fair designed to engage and encourage high school students to participate in STEM. Selected projects will receive $2,000 to build their energy solution and enter in a competition to an all-expense paid trip to Washington DC to present their energy project to leadership in the Department of Interior, Indian Affairs. High school students may compete as individuals, or as teams consisting of up to 3 students. All students/teams must have an adult sponsor. The sponsor can be either a parent, teacher, or mentor. 


AISES National American Indian Science and Engineering Fair (NAIVSEF) Senior Division (grades 9-12) – Deadline: February 15, 2017

Present your STEM research project at this year’s NAIVSEF! NAIVSEF is a Society for Science and the Public (SSP) affiliated science fair, grand award winners of NAIVSEF will receive an all-expense paid trip to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles, CA! The NAIVSEF is a virtual science fair, which does not require travel as the fair and judging are conducted online and via teleconference calls. Participants submit their projects as videos and slideshows online.
