The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is thrilled to announce that early bird registration is now OPEN for the in person 2021 National Conference. The AISES National Conference is the premier event for Indigenous STEM professionals and students, attracting over 2,000 members and attendees from the U.S. and Canada, and as far away as Alaska and Hawaii.

 

The annual AISES National Conference is a one-of-a-kind, three-day event focusing on educational, professional and workforce development! Attendees include Indigenous high school and college students, educators, professionals, tribal nations and tribal enterprises, universities, corporations, and government agencies.

 

The National Conference works towards achieving the AISES mission by providing students and professionals access to career pathways, professional and leadership development, research, and networking that also meaningfully incorporates Indigenous culture into this signature event.

AISES has opened the call for session proposals and encourages a diverse array of session presenters and STEM topics. If you have not yet presented at an AISES conference, we encourage you to submit a session proposal.

 

This year, AISES will offer live streaming of selected sessions that will be presented in-person. All presenters must be in-person at the event. AISES will not live stream any presentation off-site. All sessions must fall into one of the following tracks: High School, College, Professional, STEM & Business, Agricultural Sciences, Computer Science, Health Sciences and Medical, Educator, Boeing STEM Day and Research.

 

 

The 2021 AISES National Conference invites all middle school, high school, undergraduate and graduate students, and professionals to present their STEM research! All presentations will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021.

 

Submit your completed STEM research presentation abstract now until September 1, 2021. Early submissions receive conference registration discounts. Submit by July 9th, 2021 for a 100% registration discount; or between July 10th and August 9th, 2021 for a 50% registration discount.

 

 

Health and Safety Policy

In-person attendees must agree to abide by all COVID-19 policies and recommendations made from the State of Arizona, City of Phoenix, Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel, and Phoenix Convention Center. This could include but is not limited to social distancing procedures, mask mandates, temperature checks, and participants questionnaires. The Phoenix Convention Center communicates frequently with industry experts, healthcare professionals, representatives of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and others, to stay apprised of any changes in the COVID-19 situation and will make appropriate policy changes as needed. Anyone not abiding by these policies will be asked to leave the conference. Within two weeks of the event AISES will notify all participants of the most recent policies so they may prepare accordingly.
