Funding Invention to Impact
Online Webinar with National Science Foundation
|
Network 1-on-1 with a NSF Expert on March 24, 2022 @ 2 pm MT/1pm PDT
Join AISES and guest speaker, Dr. Ela Mirowski, Program Director, from the National Science Foundation, to learn about the opportunities that are available to audiences who are interested in starting a tech business or students who are interested in STEM fields.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) is the federal agency that supports the progress of science, health research, and national security. The NSF supports networks of diverse people and encourages researchers and aspiring or established entrepreneurs to participate as valued members of NSF's innovation programs and networks. The goal of the webinar is to generate awareness and encourage applying to NSF programs.
Dr. Mirowski is an expert in her field who leads small business innovation research at the NSF. She will help you to learn what you need to know to participate in, build skills, and get support to translate research into technology, work directly with industry, or get funding for a deep tech startup.

Again, if you are interested in pursuing opportunities to start a tech based business or you are a high school or college student - who sees STEM research or career in your future - this webinar is for YOU!
The 50-minute webinar will cover the NSF grants that are available to support research along with shared video highlights of some of the companies the NSF has funded. There will be time for questions afterwards.
This is an exciting opportunity and we hope you will join us!
