In partnership with ExxonMobil, the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is pleased to announce its 2016 Geosciences Scholarship Program. Through ExxonMobil’s generous support, AISES will offer scholarships in the amount of $3,000 to assist undergraduate, MS and PhD students in financing geosciences field work and research for summer 2016.
Students who have applied to and/or been accepted to a Summer 2016 geoscience field camp are encouraged to apply for these AISES ExxonMobil Geosciences Scholarships now. If you are seeking field camp opportunities, please see the following link for information and application deadlines: http://education.usgs.gov/nagt/geofieldcamps.html. The field camps listed provide at least 6 credit-hours and many accept students from other schools.
*Scholarships are for direct support of geology mapping, geological field based analysis, or geophysical fieldwork and research.
