AISES would like to invite you to a half hour primer about Data Science. Jerimiah “Chebon” Hamon, Director of/and Principal Data Scientist at a major broadcast media network will provide a half hour presentation and be available for questions after.

Bio of Webinar Host:
Chebon Hamon was born in Lawton, Oklahoma as a member of the Mucsogee Nation. He is ¾ Muscogee and grew up attending pow wows regularly. His favorite dances are the all night stomp dancing and playing bones. 

Chebon has more than 20 years of experience working in applied math and computer programming at companies such as Microsoft, Amazon and Harvard Medical School. He specializes in building applied mathematical solutions for complex business problems. His contributions to the “winning the buy box” algorithm, cloud computing and social media research are currently in production at a variety of Fortune 50 companies. He applies a no-nonsense approach to problem solving with a passion for data-driven answers. He is a Benjamin Franklin Lever Fellow in Econometrics at the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. He is a formally trained econometrician with special research in number theory and computational mathematics; he is currently working on natural language processing and data mining for a major broadcast network.
