IT Officer - Help Desk- Colorado Office

JOB TITLE: IT Officer – Help Desk

POSITION LOCATION: Boulder, CO

SUPERVISED BY: Chief Technology Officer

STATUS: Regular, Full-Time

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt, Salaried

SALARY RANGE: The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience.

Position Summary: The IT Officer provides help desk support to AISES staff, troubleshooting and ensuring the resolution of a variety of desktop-related problems including hardware, operating system, applications and/or network configuration, while identifying help desk trends and opportunities to improve systems. The IT Officer is also responsible for supporting all other IT systems and applications, to ensure systems meet user needs and keep pace with changes in operations, policies and/or procedures.

 

 

Program Officer- Colorado Office

JOB TITLE: Program Officer

SALARY RANGE: $50,000 – 65,000 annually

Position Summary: The Program Officer will primarily develop and implement unique curriculum for AISES pre-college programs. Development of AISES curriculum will include working under the advisement of and collaboratively with the Director of Programs to create and implement applicable curriculum for AISES student constituents. This position will also deliver AISES curriculum directly to K-12 students and give presentations at AISES events and conferences. The Officer will also train educators and/or other related professionals so they can in turn, offer the unique AISES curriculum to students. Additionally, the Program Officer will identify, pursue, engage, and maintain relationships with K-12 and AISES affiliates to inform them about the unique AISES curriculum, student support opportunities, and other applicable AISES programming such as scholarships and membership and annual events. Management of program deliverables, evaluation, reporting and adherence to budgets, and a wide variety of associated administrative and managerial duties that require excellent organizational and communication skills, and the abilities to work within the specified parameters of grant funded programs and projects and in accordance with AISES policies and procedures, are all within the scope of this position.

 

This position actively supports AISES in identifying program participant needs, designing and evaluating a portfolio of programs and projects, and implementation of all activities to meet those changing needs. The position is also a key participant in annual planning, implementing, and evaluating annual programs and projects’ goals and objectives. Because of its integral role in the organization, the position involves coordination and collaboration with the AISES Engagement and Advocacy Department which includes Outreach and Membership, Special Events, and the Development Departments. The Program Officer must participate in organizational meetings and events. Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.

 

 

Communications Assistant, Canadian Audience for AISES

JOB TITLE: Communication Assistant

POSITION LOCATION: Remote work in Canada

SUPERVISED BY: Sr. Director of Engagement and Advocacy and the Director of Outreach

STATUS: Part-Time

 

Position Summary: The Communications Assistant, Canadian Audience, works with the Director of Aboriginal Access to Engineering, Queen’s University to develop and implement integrated communication strategies to engage, retain, and build AISES membership in Canada. AISES is the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, a not-for-profit network of STEM-engaged Indigenous professionals, students, and their allies.

 

The position receives guidance from partners at AISES, specifically the Sr. Director of Engagement and Advocacy and the Director of Outreach, to assist in the development and implementation of communications strategies, and to understand and measure the breadth of outreach conducted by AISES in Canada.

 

The hours of work are flexible and will be approximately 8 hours per week. This is a part-time casual position, for a post-secondary student.
