2021 AISES National Conference

Travel Scholarships

The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is pleased to announce the travel scholarship application period for students to travel to attend the 2021 National Conference from September 23-25, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona!

If you are an American Indian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander or an Indigenous person from Canada and are pursuing a STEM education, the AISES National Conference is the place to be! Attendance will allow students to explore the role of STEM in meeting the challenges of a global society and expand the experience and leadership opportunities of young professionals in STEM. Students will be able to meet researchers, practitioners, and leaders currently engaged in STEM studies and careers.

Application Deadline: July 31, 2021

Selection Criteria

Applicants will be reviewed on the quality of their essay and explanations of why and how attending the AISES National Conference will benefit them, a letter of recommendation, the student’s involvement with AISES, and the strength of their GPA.

National Conference Scholarship awardees will be announced by August 10, 2021.
