AISES Lighting the Pathway Program

Deadline to Apply is May 15!

The “Lighting the Pathway to Faculty Careers for Natives in STEM” (LTP) program supports the Indigenous peoples of North America and the Pacific Island undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral scholars who are pursuing careers in academia. LTP is one of AISES’s cornerstone programs, serving as the premiere program for our holistic support model, which includes mentorship, scholarship, professional and academic development workshops.

 

Benefits of participating in LTP:

● Opportunity to engage in an active community of Native STEM researchers;

● An AISES-selected faculty mentor to interact with at least monthly;

● Skill-building and professional development workshops

● Participation stipend of $2,000 per year for two years;

● Two years of travel funding to attend:

- AISES National Conference;

- Leadership Summit OR discipline-specific conference.
