AISES GeoComply Scholarship

Scholarship Application is Available for Academic Year 2022-2023

 

GeoComply provides fraud prevention and cybersecurity solutions that detect location fraud and help verify a user's true digital identity. Their award-winning products are based on the technologies developed for the highly regulated and complex U.S. online gaming and sports betting market. GeoComply will be supporting students pursuing a degree in a Canadian or United States institution, that supports professional careers in the technology industry.

Scholarship Amount

$2,500 for the academic year for undergraduate students.

$5,000 for the academic year for graduate students.

 

Eligible Degrees

Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, Analysis and Functional Analysis, Computer and Information Sciences, Computational and Applied Mathematics, Computer Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Software Engineering, Computer Software Technician, Cyber/Computer Forensics & Counter, Cyber/Electronics Operations and , Cybersecurity , Data Modelling/Warehousing, Data Science, Engineering , Computer/Information Systems, Machine Learning, Pre-Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software engineering, Software development, Accounting, Business, Business Administration/Analytics, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Communications, and Human Resources.

 

Student Status

Students must be full-time undergraduate at an accredited two-year or four-year college/university for the 2022-2023 academic year.

 

Grade Point Average

Must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average (GPA).

 

Tribal Citizenship

Applicants must be: an enrolled citizen or a descendant of an enrolled citizen of a state or federally-recognized American Indian Tribe or Alaska Native Village; or Native Hawaiian or descendant from a Native Hawaiian; or Pacific Islander or descendant from Pacific Islander; or Indigenous person of Canada. Enrollment documents and/or a copy of birth certificate(s) showing descendancy from an enrolled citizen, Indigenous group of Canada, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander are acceptable. Applicant may also, instead, provide a copy of their Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood or Certificate of Degree of Alaska Native Blood (CDIB) card. Please note, AISES may not always have scholarships available for non-citizens of the United States.

 

AISES Membership

All scholarships require applicants be current AISES members at the time of application. All applicants will be required to enter a valid AISES membership number. To get a membership number join AISES or retrieve your membership number through AISES Membership Portal.

 

AISES membership is now FREE for all pre-college and college students! .

 

Application Deadline

AISES GeoComply Scholarship application deadline is May 31, 2022 at 10:59 PM (PDT); 11:59 PM (MDT); 12:59 AM (CDT); 1:59 AM (EDT).
