Accepting Entries—National American Indian Virtual Science and Engineering Fair

Post Date: January 9 2017

The AISES National American Indian Virtual Science and Engineering Fair (NAIVSEF) is now accepting entries for the Senior (Grades 9-12) and Junior (Grades 5-8) Divisions!

This Science and Engineering Fair is “Virtual” because the fair itself and the judging are conducted online and by teleconference.  Students can participate individually or as part of a 2-3 student team. All you need to get started is a mentor and an interest in Science and/or Engineering!

To learn more about the AISES NAIVSEF, go to: http://naivsef.aises.org.

NAIVSEF is a Society for Science and the Public affiliated fair, which means Senior Division Grand Award winners (and their mentors) will get to travel to and participate in the 2017 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles, California May 14-19, 2017. For more info go to: https://student.societyforscience.org/intel-isef.

Each Division—Junior and Senior—has its own timeline so log on to the AISES NAIVSEF website now to view important information about rules, deadlines, and registration. Online registration is open now for High School students; Senior Division (high school student) registration closes February 15, 2017.

Questions: If you have questions, please contact Kyle Coulon, Program and Development Officer, at kcoulon@aises.org or 720.552.6123 ext. 108.

P.S. If your project is related to energy, consider also participating in the AISES Energy Challenge! More info on that can be found at: http://www.aises.org/ec. The deadlines and requirements are different—check out the website for more info.
