AISES Announces the

2021 Partner Service Award Recipients

 

AISES announces the recipients of the 2021 AISES Partner Service Awards that will be recognized at the 2021 AISES National Conference in Phoenix, Arizona on September 25. The individuals and organizations named in the eight Partner Service Award categories are recognized for their outstanding service to and promotion of AISES. They go above and beyond to support AISES' students, professionals, Board of Directors, and staff, as well as further the organization's mission.

 

Sarah EchoHawk, AISES CEO and Kellie Jewett-Fernandez, Chief Development Officer, will present the awards at the 2021 AISES National Conference closing banquet, recognizing and thanking all of the recipients for their commitment to advancing the AISES mission of substantially increasing the representation of Indigenous peoples of North America and the Pacific Islands in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) studies and careers.

  • Educator Partner Service Award: Sam Tupou, Siletz Valley Schools
  • Corporate Partner Service Award: Bonnie Wallace, Wells Fargo Bank
  • Government Partner Service Award: Tony Baylis, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
  • Nonprofit Partner Service Award: Victoria Fuentes, American Chemical Society
  • Community Service Award: Maria Dadgar, Inter Tribal Council of Arizona
  • Advocacy Partner Service Award: Lake Erie Professional Chapter
