2016 AISES National Conference and Career Fair Oral Research Presentations– Call for Abstracts

Calling all undergraduate and graduate students who have recently completed or are involved in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) research!

We invite you to PRESENT your research at the 2016 AISES National Conference in Minneapolis, MN, this November 10-12, 2016. The call for POSTER presentations will come at a later date. This call is for oral research presentations. 

This is an opportunity to receive feedback on your completed research, add a presentation citation to your resume/CV, and compete for generous awards and prizes! 

Eligibility

  • Current AISES member. http://www.aises.org/membership
  • Currently registered in an undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Have conducted research in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. 

How it Works

  • Explore this year’s theme—Traditional Knowledge, New Ideas, A Better World—at http://conference.aises.org/agenda/session-proposals
  • Fill out an ONLINE SUBMISSION FORM by July 1st, 2016. This includes choosing which aspect of this year’s theme best fits your research. Be sure to choose the “Research” track when completing the form. 
  • Notification of acceptance will be July 15, 2016.
  • We will ask for final, printable abstracts from all accepted presenters in October, 2016*. 
  • *NOTE: your research DOES NOT have to be completed by the July 1st, 2016 submission deadline. If your research is ongoing at this time, fill out as much of the abstract as possible when submitting your proposal. You must have results to present and a final abstract for publication in the conference abstract booklet by October 2016 .
