The Annual Leadership Summit provides professional development workshops, and a formal mentor matching and training program, as well as networking opportunities with early- to mid-career level Native students in STEM.
National American Indian Virtual Science & Engineering Fair
AISES is hosting its second virtual science and engineering fair this spring! AISES awards cash prizes to senior and junior division winners and also pays the travel and registration fees for the Senior Division Grand Award winners and their sponsors to attend the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
The SUN Project
The SUN Project is a regional science bowl pilot program made possible by the Department of Energy. AISES is looking for interested Professional Chapters and Middle Schools in or near urban areas to sponsor for this Spring’s regional science bowls. Financial assistance is available to Chapter and Schools that decide to participate.
Power Up workshops are designed to boost student engagement in science fairs and to improve the quality and quantity of science fair research and projects entered at the local, national, and international level. The target audience, for these ½ day workshops, is middle and high school students (grades 5 through 12) and their educators.
Winds of Change Magazine
Winds of Change is published seven times a year by AISES with a single-minded focus on career and educational advancement for Native peoples with an emphasis on STEM.
