Maintaining a College Chapter

You started a Chapter! Congratulations! Here is what you do to keep it in good standing:

  1. Complete a report once a year by May 31
  2. Update your Chapter report (if applicable) by October  31

We want you to be successful with your Chapter. For AISES staff to best support AISES College Chapters we need to know what you are doing throughout the year and if you have had changes to your officers and/or members.

Tell us all about the interesting and exciting activities you are working on – seriously, we want to know! Are you fundraising superstars? Are you working on a particularly interesting STEM related project? Want to present a AISES National event? Want to tell your Chapter’s story to the writers at Winds of Change? Let us know! The staff at AISES are here to help you – stay in touch.

One of the most important things you can do it to keep your Chapter members and advisor’s contact information up-to-date and tell your friends to get involved with AISES – its free!

We have prizes for the Chapters who turn in their annual reports on time.

If you do not submit your annual reports, we will have to suspend your Chapter (seriously) and we DO NOT want to do that. Put the due dates in your calendars and get your reports in on time. If you are running late, check in with Engagement and Advocacy.

Looking forward to seeing who wins the prizes for getting their reports in on time!

Reminder: we have a downloadable chapter handbook that you can use for tips on having a successful chapter! COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY CHAPTER HANDBOOK

Report FAQs

If the  online Chapter Update is received and is complete, and the chapter has at least three members with current National AISES membership, the chapter is considered active and is listed on the AISES Chapters Directory. The President and Chapter Advisor of each active AISES College Chapter are added to the appropriate AISES listserv.
To contact active College Chapters, Professional Chapters, and Affiliated PK-12 schools, visit the AISES Chapters directory or contact your National/Regional Student Representative.
Please contact us. The materials required to reinstate your chapter will depend on the length of the chapter’s inactive status.
