Current Issue

The Winds of Change 24th Annual Special College Issue is available now. See which schools made our list of the Top 200 Colleges for Native Americans.

To supplement the financial information included in the Top 200 listings, we’ve included a feature article on Controlling Student Debt. If you are like most students, coming up with college tuition payments will involve some borrowing. This article aims to help you think about those consequential student loan decisions. The feature Roots and Wings takes a look at the support programs for Native students that some colleges have in place. These resources can be invaluable over the course of a college career, and they're something to consider as you narrow your list of potential colleges.

You’ll also read about the challenges and successes of several students and recent grads in The Student Body. It’s heartening to see how many of their plans include returning home and contributing to their communities.

In addition to an overview of Tribal Colleges and their many pluses, you'll find a sampling of other colleges and universities across the country, as well as a look at a busy AISES College Chapter, in College Profiles.
