AISES Announces New Chair of the Corporate Advisory Council

It is my pleasure to formally announce the new leadership for the AISES Corporate Advisory Council.   Of course the first order of business is to thank John Lothrop and Andy Ambrose for their dedication and outstanding support having served as Co-Chair’s for the CAC for well over 20 years.  Under their leadership our corporate partners have helped to fulfill the AISES mission.  The CAC introduced and implemented the successful AISES Professional of the Year program, and the annual Exhibitors Orientation and Career Fair debriefing sessions at the  AISES National Conference.  The CAC reads scholarship applications, judges at the National American Indian Science & Engineering Fair and provides valuable advice on career and industry trends to enhance AISES services and programs.  Often the CAC membership serves as presenters and speakers at AISES national events, lending their professional experience and skills to train AISES national student membership.

We are fortunate that Laurence Brown, a Manager in Sandia National Laboratories’ Government Relations Office and a Materials Engineer, has accepted the appointment to serve as the AISES Corporate Advisory Council Chair.  Full Announcement
