Frank Chythlook
AISES Advisor/Professional Member
Frank Chythlook is a Yup'ik broadcaster who began his career in Fairbanks, Alaska. Moving from Television, to Radio and entering the education realm via media mentoring, Frank has been working toward a goal of promoting indigenous expression in new media forms. With the blossom of electronic media in the early 00's, Frank has found his love of storytelling and technology coming together. Most recently, Frank has come full circle and joins Rural Student Services as an advisor for students entering the STEM fields, and in coord! ination with the Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program, seeks to further the goal of increasing Native involvement in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics fields. |
