UAF is like a family tradition. My Mom and Dad went here, my grandpa, two uncles, three aunts, and many family friends. Getting an engineering degree will be really hard work and will take a lot of time but working hard now will hopefully mean a successful career later on. I really want to be a good role model and inspire younger kids to stay in school. I also play on the volleyball team at UAF. I redshirted my first year. Volleyball takes dedication and I need to have motivation all the time to balance practice, classes, and homework. Get everything done. It's important to be a student before being an athlete though. I just want to enjoy college life, do well in my classes, and get a good degree! Family is really important to me, especially three of my younger sisters. I try to explain what college is like and how to prepare in high school. |
