As a first generation college student living away from home; Sara joined AISES because she needed a support group, a place to call home. Sara found much more. AISES has been essential to Sara’s personal success by providing a strong support system, professional development and leadership development. Sara‘s next step is to obtain a doctorate degree in Educational Policy. From there she will seek employment at the State or Federal level where she can work to improve the public education system.
