I am currently a doctoral student in ecology and environmental sciences at Montana State University. My main interests are in ethnobotany and restoration ecology. Upon completion of my degree, I will go back to Standing Rock and, hopefully, resume teaching ethnobotany and other Native Science courses at Sitting Bull College. Although I am currently away from my family for school, when I am home I live with my husband and our two sons.
